Garden of Compassion

How do you remember and provide healing from a global pandemic?

At Luther Home, we have turned to prayer and focusing our attention on caring for one another. As we remember the loss of loved ones and celebrate the steadfast dedication of our community, we are excited to announce plans for a new Garden of Compassion. Coming to the outside of our Williston habilitation center in 2022, the garden will be a place where those who live, work and visit our campus can reflect and enjoy nature or take part in large and small group activities.

Featuring various flora and fauna along with ample seating, the garden will offer opportunities for residents to cultivate new life or simply take in the beauty of our quiet country atmosphere. With input from staff and residents, Landscape Designer, James Hiss, from Places and Spaces Inc. is developing the project with lots of personal touches in the works. At the center of the design is a piece commissioned by Kenneth Thompson of Flatlander Sculpture.

We invite you to join us as we take on this exciting project. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available to meet your needs:
