where it all began

Our ministry began at the Williston campus in 1928 with a single cottage in the middle of a cornfield. Today, LHM campus ministries have grown to encompass 25 acres with eight separate residential cottages, medical care at our newly renovated clinic, therapies, a gymnasium and spacious outdoor recreation areas. At full capacity, the LHM campus is home to 97 individuals. Each cottage offers private bedrooms with common areas to enjoy the company of fellow housemates and guests. Many of the individuals who live at the Williston campus travel throughout Ottawa, Wood and Lucas counties each day attending community events, recreational outings and employment opportunities at one of 7 local day program centers.
